Title Project Accountant
Location Dallas, TX
Kimley-Horn's North Dallas office is looking for an energetic, team-oriented person to join the Accounting Department. This position is responsible for all aspects of project accounting including, but not limited to the following:
Contract management and review
MIS project setup, monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
Meet multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis
Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system
Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Business
Solid understanding of general accounting fundamentals
High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
Must be an excellent team player
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment
Effective oral and written communication skills a must
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
Min. Experience Entry Level
Min. Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Required Major Accounting/Finance/General Business
- Experience using computerized accounting systems; knowledge of Deltek Costpoint system a plus
