  • A successful candidate will have the following knowledge/experience.

  • Experience working for a company with a Commercial Software Product with experience making decisions on the process for the better.

  • Open to an individual in a lead role or an architect role who is hands on.

  • Due to the nature of the product someone who understands ETL and Data Warehousing and Data Integration would be key.

  • The product is installable upgradable again someone who has worked on a commercial software product not just web application testing.

  • Someone with testing Scalability experience, continuous integration experience.

  • They utilize Jasmine and Sencha test platform which would be a plus.

Requirements: This is a high impact role with regular visibility to and interaction with both our clients and our executive team. Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of all Quality Assurance responsibilities for the company.

  • Provide QA leadership ensuring Bay Dynamics' product quality.

  • Work cross-functionally with the product management and leadership teams to consolidate current processes into a comprehensive Quality Assurance program that thoroughly cover all aspects of Bay Dynamics solutions, including: o Development and maintenance of Quality Assurance roadmap. o Definition and maintenance of Quality Assurance standards o Development and maintenance of end to end performance and regression Test Plans o Implementation of testing automation, where applicable

  • Work closely with Product Management and Customer Service to track customer defects and enhancements request.

  • Escalate critical and blocking issues when necessary and drive them to closure

  • Translation of customer and management PRD into test cases.

  • Implementation of scorecard and metrics to measure overall product quality. Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience providing both Quality Assurance project and resource oversight.

  • In depth knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies including Agile and Kanban.

  • Strong background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce high level test strategy and test cases.

  • Understanding of product development lifecycles and QA's role during each phase.

  • Ability to work in a start-up, highly demanding, fast paced environment managing multi projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to coordinate with the engineering and implementation teams to analyze and address customer issues.

  • Excellent problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills. Additional preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.

  • Experience in both a small startup and enterprise environments.

  • Knowledge in JIRA and Salesforce products is a plus.

  • Knowledge in automation tests and ISO 9000 standards is a plus.

  • Knowledge in Security Technologies, Business Analytics, Data Management and Microsoft Analysis Services are a plus.

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
