Toyota's Quality Assurance Management Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Senior Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to establish, analyze, review, assess and monitor Toyota Quality Systems for the improvement of North American produced vehicles
Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the Quality Policy and Audit sections objective to ensure quality requirements are established, distributed, maintained and implemented
Lead the implementation, maintenance and reporting on the status of North America Quality System Requirements (NAMQSR) Establish, coordinate, lead and manage meetings to confirm the ongoing suitability of Toyota Quality Systems (i.e. Management Review Process) Reviews, revises and establishes policies, procedures and WISDOM (QD Job Instruction) for quality function activities Establish and conduct training for system audits and support basic audit training Serve as the lead auditor in the planning, conducting and reporting on system and process audits to confirm compliance to NA Regional Quality Policies and Procedures as well as the quality system Recommend and support implementation of system/process/product improvements and share good practices
A successful candidate will have :
4-Year Technical Bachelor degree (non-technical Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 4 years QMS experience will also be considered) Must display strong organizational skills, people skills and have a kaizen mind Experience must include leading and managing projects and organizations Experience coordinating, leading and reporting in regional meetings Demonstrated problem solving capability A successful candidate may have :
Engineering BS (Quality, Mechanical, Industrial) Quality Management System experience Quality Auditing experience Automotive systems and part knowledge Experience in leading and influencing teams of peers or cross functional teams A3 Report Writing Experience in functions and operations related to the Quality function - will also consider experiences in Purchasing/Supplier Engineering, Production Control and Production Engineering or R&D Toyota business experience combined with technical/quality experience STANDARD BENEFITS:
