Toyota's Quality Assurance Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Sr. Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to Support the analysis of quality gaps/concerns in order to develop recommendations for systemic, cross functional improvement

Reporting to the Quality Planning and Development Manager, the person in this role will support the department's objective to promote Quality to all functions across North America through the continued development of the quality mindset and implementation of organization wide quality strategies and initiatives


Develop and implement a ‘Field Issue Database’ to promote data availability and access to all related groups for problem solving Consolidate and provide actionable analysis for the Regional Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); report the KPIs at Major Meeting Quality or other cross functional meetings to ensure Executive awareness Plan and carry out Regional Kansa Kairyo (audit and improvement) activities by visualizing and analyzing regional KPIs identifying trends (outlays), develop proposal for systemic improvement/action and assign appropriate stakeholder through regional top quality meeting agenda setting and implementation Create strategies and/or methods to support the management of regional quality initiatives as secretariat to the North American Chief Quality Officer Develop the bi-monthly Quality Major Meeting agenda and ensure the meeting preparation and execution (agenda approval, stakeholder/presenter kick-off, material reviews, meeting preparation and meeting minutes) milestones are achieved Develop Operational Procedures and Standard Work for section core jobs Support the maintenance of the Section Core Job list and be responsible for updates to the Visual Management/FMDS board that will be reviewed by Division Executives on a monthly basis Scheduling conflicts with Top Level Quality Meetings and material preparation schedule frequently occur and Team Member (T/M) must be flexible and adaptive to find alternative options Develop project plans and gain approval from executive management for the execution of assigned Annual Plan initiatives

A successful candidate will have:

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Experience in a Quality Organization Strategic planning and data analysis experience Experience leading projects that include the coordination of multiple groups Experience developing work procedures or standards and preparing reports for management Heavy travel possible in October to support Quality Month site visits A successful candidate may have:

A background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering Management Post graduate professional experience in Automotive or Manufacturing Quality Engineering Extensive database or Microsoft Excel experience in developing data analysis/report automation files Knowledge of automotive assembly processes Multi-division project management experience including initiating, developing, milestone management and status reporting Toyota experience and demonstrated knowledge/awareness of North American Toyota Quality organization STANDARD BENEFITS:
