The Receptionist II assists Office Manager as needed. Receives and directs guests and phone

calls while taking messages and paging employees as necessary. Performs clerical duties

including typing correspondence, memos, and reports. Projects professional image.

Job Functions

I. Receive visitors to department and direct them to appropriate personnel or

provide routine factual information concerning departmental policies and


II. Answer telephone and refer calls to appropriate personnel, take message, and

answer routine inquiries. III. Type forms, correspondence, and charts.

IV. Maintain records and files according to established filing system.

V. Sort and classify documents.

VI. Arrange meetings and schedule appointments as needed.

VII. Receive, open, sort, and distribute mail as needed.
