Responsibilities include:

  • Closely partner with business analysts and functional subject matter experts to translate requirements and build new Salesforce solutions leveraging standard configuration and/or custom code to include Visual Force and Apex

  • Act as a key resource to support the health of Salesforce by executing and documenting clean system configuration and development, data loads, setting up and managing security and user permissions, and liaising with appropriate individuals on Salesforce integrations

  • Contribute to IS portfolio knowledge and make change recommendations; contribute to technology research and assessments to identify Salesforce solutions for best strategic, functional and technical fit

  • Working within the AVO IS demand management framework, set request priorities and provide effort estimates and timelines for delivery

  • Provide stellar end-user support by achieving impeccable service levels and maintaining strong relationships through incident resolution, request prioritization and delivery, system user training, and process change management

  • Ensure operational excellence by identifying the resolution to incidents, working with other teams including the vendor to identify trends or root cause behaviors for persistent issues

  • Escalate process change requests, system enhancements or any other related requests through relevant mechanisms for approval / prioritization

  • Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools


  • Degree or diploma in a related IT area or discipline

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of Salesforce platform development

  • Strong knowledge in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Visual Force and Apex

  • Well versed in CRM practices and technology platforms and key integration points

  • Ability to proactively identify problems and circumvent roadblocks to deliver solutions on time

  • Demonstrated ability in providing exceptional stakeholder service

  • Self-starter with ability to self-manage at required service and work performance standards; Able to set high standards for results, and once achieved, able to raise the standards even higher

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (reading, writing, listening, oral, presentation)

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; Able to build strong and successful long-term working relationships, Able to facilitate and gain agreements without damaging relationships; lead by example

  • Some travel may be required

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Sales organization and CRM functional experience

  • Experience in a hyper-growth technology and/or manufacturing company
