We are currently seeking aPainter / Sandblaster to join our growing team!

Duties include:

  • Operate air-powered equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings inside an enclosed booth

  • Shovel or pour abrasives into machine hopper

  • Load parts on racks in enclosed rooms

  • Mix paints per specifications and requirements

  • Operate automatic and manual painting equipment

  • Move, organize, mark and hang unfinished and finished parts

  • Help maintain paint line, dip tanks, agitators, spray booths and other equipment

  • Store, handle and dispose of flammable and hazardous materials following all Federal, State and company regulations and guidelines.

  • Clean and maintain ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment

  • Keep up with routine maintenance procedures and cleaning equipment.

  • Document inspections and maintain proper records.

  • Performing general labor and cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor or lead person.

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • Ability to follow directions, company operating procedures, safety rules

  • Have experience working in a manufacturing or production type environment

  • Must not have fear of confined spaces

  • Able to wear protective suit in extreme temperatures

  • Ability to lift, push, pull objects of up to 40 pounds frequently for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

  • Ability to work overtime as required

  • Ability to pass a respiratory medical evaluation and full-face respirator fitment test

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
