VIAD Senior Account Representative - Tradeshow in Dallas, Texas

Act as a supporting cast member in the Account Management Department. Assisting our Account Management Team with their day to day duties as well as supporting the Senior Leaders of the Team. Reports directly to the Account Manager Supervisor/Director of Account Management.

  • Assist with the exhibitor kit production and maintenance.

  • Assist with exhibitor list development, accuracy, and system upload.

  • Assist with show workbench activation and maintenance.

  • Assist with the producing and distribution of organizer work orders as necessary.

  • Assist in the approval process and acts as a liaison between Account Management and graphic and GEM project managers to insure milestones are met.

  • Attends show management, operations, and Countdown meetings to ensure there is follow up in action items and effective planning.

  • Perform account representative functions as outlined in standard operating procedures.

  • Cross trains with all departments for a continual working knowledge of tradeshow production.

  • Perform assigned task in all GES applications pertaining to Account Management functions.

  • Acts as a liaison with show management, exhibitors, venue contacts, and production personnel with regard to all services.

  • Assists Account Manager at show site as needed by handling a specific area or function, order entry, updating the official invoice, and assisting with association needs.

  • Serves as in-house contact for Account Manager while they are at show site

  • Produce miscellaneous/small projects for growth and developmental opportunities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Supervisor and Account Managers.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Two (2) years experience in the tradeshow, convention, hospitality industry of special event planning preferred.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities.

  • Must be able to work under pressure.

  • Opportunity to work nights, weekends and at show site.

  • Position may require long hours during several months of the year.

  • Work is performed in office conditions, involving sitting some of the time.

  • Work may involve repetitive motion (i.e. constant keying, using fingers, or grasping of objects).

  • Work is performed in a somewhat crowded or noisy area where there may be mild discomfort due to temperature, dust or other conditions.

  • Work involves occasional exertion of physical effort (i.e. periods of standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting)
