Milliman Senior Benefits Consultant in Dallas, Texas
BASIC FUNCTIONA Senior Benefits Consultant is responsible for the health of our overall client relationship and specifically as it pertains to the client's non-qualified retirement plans. In this role the Senior Benefits Consultant will attend meetings, manage the client expectations, participate in the billing process and introduce other product and services that Milliman offers. The Senior Benefits Consultant is responsible for the growth of the non-qualified plans book of business. The Senior Benefits Consultant will work with the Milliman Southern Region managing a team of 1-3 client service associates, project managing the team work assignments and quality reviewing of the work produced. The work assigned to the team will include daily administration of non-qualified plans, compliance projects, and special consulting projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Deliver the highest quality of service to clients, associates and management.• Analyze clients' retirement plans to make recommendations to the committees regarding best options to meet the clients' goals and compliment other sponsored plans.• Attend regular client committee and board meetings.• Develop relationships with clients enabling the ability to cross-sell services, ask for referrals, and retain clients long-term.• Motivate team members to work together in the most efficient manner to achieve or exceed service levels for clients.• Operate within and execute strategic plan for the business unit.• Provide required reporting information to communicate client needs and situations to the appropriate parties.• Participate in the billing process and be responsible for the overall financial health of the client.• Manage a team of 1-3 client service representatives.• Mentoring team members concerning the rules and regulations concerning all aspects of non-qualified plan administration and support for career growth.• Review the work product produced by the team members and sign off on the assignments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS• Ten or more years of industry experience with an expertise in non-qualified retirement plans• CPC credential from ASPPA or equivalent • Strong problem solving skills• Strong communication skills• Experience with OMNI is preferred• Prior Management experience is preferred• Strong Compliance oriented skills• Must submit a cover letter
