Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Corporate Shared Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Payroll Analyst

The primary responsibility of this role is to work with internal clients and third parties to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of payroll for multi-state team members in accordance with wage and hour laws, union, agreements, and company policy.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the person in this role will support the Payroll department's objective to Lead strategy and implementation of projects (e.g. compliance, regulatory changes, policy changes, time administration and reporting

What you’ll be doing

Ensure strategy and projects support the delivery of accurate and timely client payroll for a total of 33K team members across multi-state business model.

Partner with third party vendors related to strategic projects, time administration, payroll processing, and delivery.

Lead strategy and implementation of projects (e.g. compliance, regulatory changes, policy changes, time administration and reporting.

Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FAQs, and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) that support assigned projects.

Lead Time Administration including, implementation & testing, working with 3rd party vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and policy. What you bring

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) Payroll operational experience from a large corporate, multi-state environment. (Large = 5,000 employees). Demonstrated analytical ability and assessment of financial, regulatory and customer impact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Access, Excel, PowerPoint), query development, table linkage, and reporting tools. Advanced level proficiency state and federal wage and hour laws, general tax requirements and withholding, and payroll accounting. Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Time and Labor systems and Administration Advanced level proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with proven results in conflict resolution with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and positively interact with all levels of management Demonstrated Project leadership role with demonstrated ability to lead teams to meet operational KPI's and/or completion of projects

Added bonus if you have

MBA, CPA, CPP designation PeopleSoft PR and or T&L experience ADP ProBusiness experience or other ADP solution Experience working with Time and Labor systems and administration (manufacturing environment is a plus) Workforce Software experience
