Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Accounting Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Sr. Accounting Analyst, Corporate Reporting.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, International Financial Reporting the person in this role will support the Corporate Reporting team, with the primary responsibility of running the reporting and internal control processes for our shareholder reporting to Japan via the iFEM package.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare Japan reporting (iFEM) package quarterly for TMCC consolidated, TFSIC and TFSS USA. Also assist TFSB’s Japan reporting (iFEM) package where applicable.

  • Coordinate with various groups through the organization to obtain information necessary for the preparation of iFEM schedules.

  • Regularly review and update SOX process documents and work with SOX team to ensure appropriate internal controls are inherent in financial reporting and are designed effectively.

  • Support quarterly reviews and audits performed by both external and internal auditors.

  • Support TMCC Controllership and Reporting process by taking responsibility and full ownership for assigned tasks from start to finish.

What you bring

  • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field

  • Minimum 6-8 years work experience

  • Audit background with either a Big 4 or national public accounting firm

  • Excellent communication, relationship building, interpersonal and organizing skills.

  • Ability to work accurately with details

  • Ability to perform research and prepare/present recommendations

  • Strong background operating in Excel

  • Temporary travel required to California HQ office up to 15%
