The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

BSN preferred. RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Current AHA BLS upon hire.

Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas or Compact State.

BLS training or successful completion within 30 days of hire.

Required minimum experience:

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

One (1) year experience as an RN in Critical Care or previous Cath Lab experience preferred.

Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first.

Qualified candidate will have excellent customer service and teamwork skills as well as clinical competence.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7A-3P (Flexible per department's needs, for a total of 24 hours per week)

On-Call shifts: Minimum 6 days of call per month including one weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) on-call hours and hours can fluctuate
