All-Tex is our Cotton Research and processing group. Located in Texas, we assist the grower in all aspects of cotton production from custom seed for planting to delinting after harvest.
Position Title: Southern Dyna-Gro Market Development Manager
Reports To: Dyna-Gro Brand Manager
The Southern Dyna-Gro Market Develop Manager position is responsible for building sustainable Dyna-Gro sales growth from North Carolina through Texas by building brand awareness and product confidence that meets or exceeds corporate goals through growing market share of Dyna-Gro Brand seed. This position is the focal point for all Dyna-Gro market development and product communications.
The position will assume the essential duties and responsibilities for Dyna-Gro seed marketing support, along with providing Dyna-Gro Seed marketing direction and leadership for the Regions and Divisions within the geographically assigned area.
The primary role of this position is working with Region and Division personnel to increase current and new customers’ use of Dyna-Gro products, assist in designing plans to recruit new customers and expand Company seed volume as directed by the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
This position is responsible for strategy, tactics, and building effective marketing approaches and their execution, that deliver desired results. The position will also assist Division personnel with development of data driven marketing tools that highlight product performance in local geographies. The position will also provide limited support to the cotton breeding testing efforts in the cotton growing states.
Help set direction that will optimize investments of marketing resources, focus and prioritize to drive key messages/tactics that impact desired results
Effectively sell the value of seed sales growth while helping build a high sales performance team through a positive coaching culture
Responsible each seed year for developing a Southern Dyna-Gro Brand business and marketing plan along with implementing sales and marketing materials
Develop and implement seed marketing plans, implement Dyna-Gro business direction, and coordinate follow-ups with the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager to meet or exceed annual objectives
Implement, promote, and communicate approved seed marketing programs and customer incentive programs
Track competitors and recommend appropriate marketing strategies and tactical adjustments
Work with product development group for introduction of new products and the implementation of marketing communication
Identify and share key opportunities with the Brand Manager
Build Dyna-Gro Brand awareness throughout the selling organization enhancing customer perception
Support the Region seed marketing plan and assist Regions and Divisions in growing seed revenues and margins as directed by the Region and the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
Provide input for product, technology and agronomic knowledge geared toward training for meetings, field days, plots, and one-on-one with seed personnel.
Anticipate and recognize changes and react to new opportunities in the marketplace
Maintain appropriate records and communicate current activities and results to Dyna-Gro Brand Manager
Serve as an integral part of the Dyna-Gro Seed Leadership Team
Safety – Maintain safe working conditions and report any unsafe seed working conditions

Skills, Education, Experience
Four year degree in an Ag related field strongly desired.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in sales, marketing, and market development required.
May live anywhere within the territory.
Must have the ability to work with and maintain a good working relationship with all Region and Division employees.
Effectively demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness, and results orientation.
Have ability to work in a fast paced changing environment
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills along with leadership abilities and interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively in and to rural environments
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screen are required.
