Under indirect supervision assures all training and development programs are accomplished according to the Site program. The Training Leader instructs, develops, and organizes product/equipment/process/new hire training for employees to insure the availability of qualified personnel in order to satisfy business conditions and customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
Confer with site manager’s, superintendent’s, supervisor’s and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
Coordinate training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the Site.
Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
Assist employees with problems concerning “how to” perform specific tasks related to their position.
Make suggestions on improving work procedures at the Site.
Maintain trainee personnel records and progression charts per ISO standards.
Develop strong relationship with all manufacturing/support departments to develop course materials and receive feedback.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous training and product experience or one year related training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior manufacturing/support experience is preferred, but not required.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to develop and proof training materials.
· Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees.
· Bilingual: Spanish / English is preferred.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to function independently in a multi-tasked environment, as well as part of a team.
Ability to follow the appropriate safety precautions.
Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
Proficient in Windows Suite

Euless Site environment includes varying temperatures (heat and cold) and dust.
