The Geek Squad Depot Assistant Manager will be directly responsible for leading and managing Geek Squad employees, 3rd party, and contingent workers within a Depot location. The Assistant Manager will also be the leader on duty and will need to make decisions and provide guidance, coaching, training, and act as an advocate for Geek Squad activities. They will pursue ongoing process innovation and will be responsible for building a culture of continuous improvement.

The Geek Squad Depot Assistant Manager will need to make decisions regarding employee scheduling, client satisfaction, and productivity without direction. This leader must oversee the day to day support activities carried out within the Depot and will collectively be responsible for teaching, coaching, and enforcing SOP and company policy. This position must develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all departments and their goals to enable creation and support of a team-based, cooperative work environment. Supports activities with all departments to ensure smooth location wide operations, repair processes, inventory and parts standards though may be responsible for a direct area and group of agents at one time.

The Geek Squad Depot Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of superior client service, enhancing the employee experience, training and development of employees, providing feedback to employees about their performance, driving operational efficiency, and growing the business in an effort to support converging technologies.

What are the Professional Requirements of a Geek Squad Depot Assistant Manager?

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year experience with repair operations or the equivalent

  • 2 years of experience with change management and process improvement

  • 2 years supervisory or management experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2-year or 4-year degree in Business Management or related field
