The Mortgage Sales Assistant serves the mortgage needs of higher traffic Banking center customers and assisting Mortgage Loan Officers with ancillary production functions as needed. The Mortgage Sales Assistant works with loan applicants to gather background information and documentation, reviews and analyzes the documents, assists customers with mortgage servicing needs in the banking center, and coordinates loan closings.

  • High school diploma or GED required; Some college preferred

  • Two (2) years of mortgage processing, origination or equivalent experience required

  • One (1) year of customer service related experience preferred

  • Motivated individual with administrative skills and strong organizational skills

  • Strong problem resolution, interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to learn new systems, policies and procedures quickly

  • Must be capable of performing in a fast paced office environment

  • Ability to make decisions
