Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Engineer Senior in Fort Worth, Texas

Operational Data Processing to support Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs (ASIP) for F-16 and F-22 platforms. The engineer is also required to develop and maintain the tools and software that perform the processing and the generation of periodic usage reports. Position responsibilities will focus on the processing, storage and tracking of the fleet data, as well as, software development and information system design, development, and implementation.

Software system development responsibilities will span the technology development life-cycle including requirements generation and process definition, software design, development, integration, test, and documentation. Main tasks will include updating current tools and processes, and creating new tools and applications, including development of a web-based information system, analytics apps, and a dashboard.

Basic Qualifications • Must have a background in analyzing engineering data • Bachelor’s education in an associated field or discipline • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills • A strong background in software development, computer information systems and system security, and development of web-based systems will be a plus. • Software development in Java, C++, C#, .NET, VBA and XML using Object Oriented programming techniques • Experience with commercial databases such as MS SQL or Oracle • Deploying and maintaining a database on a Cloud server • Experience in developing a web-based system that receives data from the field and posts report information • Experience in developing and deploying a dashboard
