  • The Quality Assurance Standardization Supervisor (QASS) is responsible to the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and assists in evaluating the quality of maintenance accomplished in the maintenance organization and performing necessary functions to manage the organization’s Quality Assurance Programs per CBP requirements. The evaluation and analysis of deficiencies and problem areas are key functions of Quality Assurance that highlight and identify underlying causes of nonconformance in the maintenance production effort and address areas for improvement. - The Quality Assurance Standardization Supervisor is responsible to the QAM serve as technical advisor for the maintenance effort. Also assists the Program Management Office in monitoring the maintenance organization and assisting maintenance supervision at all levels to resolve quality problems. - Must be customer oriented. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Performs duties and responsibilities for the Quality Team at the Program Management Office (PMO). To include: Quality and Standardization Supervision at the Program Office and Aviation Operations Site (AOS) levels. - Ensures all program aircraft tracking and documentation meet the CBP standards and requirements. - Makes recommendations to the QAM to enhance the quality of maintenance. - Implements and administers PAE Programs (i.e.) Hydraulic Contamination, Foreign Object Damage Prevention, Tool Control, Record Keeping, Compass Calibration, Corrosion prevention, Tire And Wheel Maintenance Safety, Fuel Surveillance, Oil Analysis, Support Equipment Operator Training, and Survival Systems Maintenance, individual qualifications, and other programs. - Direct liaison between QC, AOS, CBP L&M and PMO is a necessity and must be energetically executed. - QA Standardizations Supervisor is responsible to the QAM for the overall quality of maintenance within the PAE/CBP Program. - Monitor Federal Aviation Regulation compliance as applicable. - Monitors the PAE Quality Management Approach (operating specification) for CBP and participates in the improvement processes. - Maintains current CBP DoD and OEM technical data in the program, including control classified technical publications for the department, and ensure each site’s library receives all publications applicable to each site and these are kept current and complete. - Ensure all work guides i.e., Task Checklist, and PAE Site Operation Instructions (SOIs) are useful and effective and define control measures for Quality. - Monitor compliance with work guides and SOIs. - Verify CARMAC and associated systems are kept current and reflect the real-time requirements of the contract and perform or assist with data updates to CARMAC and EMRKS when necessary. - - Monitors FAA and OEM technical directives applicable to the CBP aircraft. Researches fleet impact as a result of new publications and solicits approval from the CBP COR prior to directing compliance at the AOS level. - Monitors information from CARMAC and EMRKS via reports/inquiries to develop trends. Identify failure areas or other maintenance problem areas. - Oversight of the CBP Program Maintenance Check Flights (MCF’s) and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC) requirements. - Performs AOS visits to audit, investigate, or assist as needed.


  • Must have extensive background in aircraft maintenance; with a minimum of (10) ten years experience within the last (15) fifteen years; in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspections, and modifications. Of the ten years, six shall have been in aviation maintenance or quality role. A&P/ IA certification required - Must be capable of performing the functions and be knowledgeable of aviation ground safety and management must have experience in interpreting technical publications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, aperture cards, and inspection findings. - Have a complete working knowledge and understanding of FAA, DOD and OEM records and reporting as they apply to CBP requirements. - Possess analytical abilities necessary to handle extremely complex administrative, organizational, and aircraft maintenance matters. - Must have sufficient knowledge and experience to effectively assume responsibility for overall quality of PAE’s maintenance effort and maintain CBP compliance. - Qualify for “Secret” clearance. - Must be able to pass a government background investigation - Must be a US citizen and completed high school or equivalent. - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
