The Center for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Disease Research (CANDR) is made up of researchers from a wide range of disciplines (neuroscience, psychology, medicine, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health) devoted towards a common goal - eliminating neurodegenerative diseases. Our team spans basic "bench-top" science, clinical research, community-based research and clinical trials. Our translational approach is intended to foster discovery and expedite those discoveries toward the benefit of those suffering from brain disease. A particular emphasis of CANDR is the development of personalized (or person-focused) medicine for Alzheimer's disease.
The Center for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Disease Research (CANDR) at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Research Assistant to join our team.
The responsibilities of position include but are not limited to:
- Conduct participant interviews in English and Spanish.
- Conduct neuropsychological testing in English and Spanish.
- Participate in community recruitment of research participant.
- Data entry.
- Scoring of interview and testing data.
- QC of files and data collected.
- Work with project coordinator to complete aspects of the research project.
- Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
