Role Summary/Purpose

The CMR (Contract Margin Review) Leader will coordinate a cross functional team of engineers, services operations, finance, and services risk experts to drive services profitability & grow services revenue while delivering customer outcomes. You will be dedicated to 1-2 customer accounts.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be partnering with the customer services to teams to supporting modelling and analytics around contract profitability. The CMR Leader will set tone, direction and urgency and work closely with Finance, Risk, Engineering, and Services Operations counterparts to achieve results that have a direct impact on the operating profit for Global Services Organization and GE Transportation.

In addition, you will

  • Partner with services leadership to develop services commercial roadmap for the customer and establish pre-negotiation position based on model and assist with negotiations

  • Be catalytic leader working across the cross functional teams (services, engineering, finance, risk, reliability) to meet business targets and monitor contract execution and productivity

  • Prioritize the CMR process to keep the teams on track and provide real-time feedback to the stakeholders to drive prioritization based on customer needs and annual profitability targets

  • Embrace technology and process improvement to reduce CMR cycle time, touch time, and reduce margin volatility

  • Design, develop, implement, and institutionalize process improvements, focusing on enhanced transactional quality consistent with objectives

  • Identify opportunities to maximize synergies with Transportation’s services strategy such as the new used material business, Next Generation services, and upgrades and modifications.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of Operational, Commercial, Risk, or Finance experience
