The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for supporting the on-going development and configuration needs of the US Pharmaceutical sales reporting systems and underlying databases. The support provided is within a team of sales technology developers and system administrators tasked with ongoing configuration of the existing Salesforce.com (SFDC) technology environment comprised of 1200+ SFDC users. The Sr. BI Developer works with internal sales business units and key stakeholders and the sales technology team to analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement an overall BI Reporting infrastructure and strategy.
The Sr. BI Developer will:
Define and manage stakeholder business requirements for technology project development
Manage new and ongoing Business Intelligence (BI) Report Development
Be responsible for all database administration in support of BI Reporting and SFDC CRM System functionality
Manage the development and on-going maintenance configuration necessary for system integration tools to ensure clean and accurate reporting and leveraging data from outside data sources in an automated way
6+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology
Significant experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems
Strong knowledge of SQL programming and database management
Strong knowledge & 3-5 years experience developing with various BI tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, MicroStrategies, etc.
Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools.
Experience design and maintaining large SQL or Oracle databases, ETL integration middleware configuration and administration and Report development (e.g. Informatica, Cast Iron)
Strong communication (written, verbal) and facilitation skills
Strong decision making and analytical skills

Knowledge of project management principles
Ability to be self directed and anticipate needs of the end customer with ability to translate those needs into technology solutions
Sales operations related experience
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
