Our client, a Medical Technologies Company, is looking for an interim Sr. Material Planner to work in the Fort Worth, TX area. The position has the responsibility and authority for the evaluation and selection of high quality, reliable suppliers for raw materials and for ensuring cost effective acquisition of quality materials. Employee will work in a collaborative environment with value stream teams, Engineers, New Product Development (NPD) teams, Research and Development, Quality, Finance and Sales and Customer Service.

Interim position with the opportunity to be hired on full time

- Support Operations success by reading, interpreting and proactively responding to material requirements data within SAP and Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) processes. This includes ensuring timely resolution of the day-to-day activities related to operations such as invoices, expediting, processing return of rejected parts to suppliers, obtaining replacement of rejected parts, resolving receipt issues, and responding to questions/requests from both internal customers and suppliers.

- Ensure highest levels of supplier performance and material quality

- Effectively drive Supply Chain initiatives related to inventory control and supplier consolidation

- Effectively drive Supply Chain initiatives related to inventory control and supplier consolidation

--Bachelor s degree

--4+years of related experience


--Experience employing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in supply chain activities and employing materials and inventory management using the Material Resource Planning (MRP).

--Experience with purchasing, production planning, forecasting and supplier management.

--Experience managing projects and working in teams

--Experience with computer applications including Microsoft office


--Master s Degree

--APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)

--Project Management Professional Certification

--Six Sigma, Lean and DMAIC a plus

--Experience in the medical device industry is desired

--Experience with SAP

--Familiar with working in an ISO 13485 and FDA regulated environment
