Lockheed Martin Subcontract Management Senior in Fort Worth, Texas
**This position is contingent on program award*** Manage major subsystems for Advanced Pilot Trainer (APT). In this position, tasks will include purchase order placement and subcontract management in support of the Advanced Pilot Training (APT) program procurement team. Duties include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract terms, price and schedule, routes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Will mentor less experienced procurement professionals. Some travel required. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications - Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), or Department of Defense Contracts(DOD). -Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. -Experience in Systems Applications and Process (SAP). -Experience with general subcontract management or cost or quality or schedule or technical program performance.
Desired skills - Experience creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations. - Experience with Excel. - Experience in issuing Requests for Proposal, analyzing bids, subcontract management, and contract negotiation - Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)/ Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) type fact-finding and analysis - Cross functional program experience (Program, Accounting, Engineering, Quality etc.) - Demonstrated mentoring skills and training experience - Experience on Development Programs/Sub-Systems - Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) Experience - General Production Knowledge - Leader and Executive Communication Experience a plus - Strong Financial Aptitude - Cost Analysis Experience a plus - Supply Systems Experience - Contracting Experience - Cost contracting knowledge a plus- Knowledgeable with MS Word, Excel and powerpoint.
