Job# 60913 - Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Manager (III) for the Dallas, Texas area. Sodexo operations include full service operations for both Food and Environmental Services . Position oversees the human resource functions for five hospital locations within 45 minutes - one hour apart with over 300 Sodexo employees. Critical to your success is the ability to develop teams that work collaboratively & to ensure that the on-site GM's effectively manage their HR responsibilities.

Position is in a different unit each day and interacts with Sodexo leaders and staff to ensure our teams are staffed to meet the needs of our customer. You report to the District Manager and provide staff training and support, work with employees to continually improve performance and customer satisfaction; manage all HR functions with enthusiasm while providing hands-on guidance for front and back of the house staff to produce outstanding results!

Position works closely with the management teams regarding all human resources needs of hourly employees. This is a highly visible, hands-on HR field position where you work to establish strong partnerships, build talent pipelines, work to grow and elevate training programs and retain top talent in a tight labor market.


Non-exempt (hourly) recruiting, staffing, and on-boarding of new hires

Typical schedule will run; 8am-5pm with some weekend / holiday coverage.

Position Summary

Handles all HR related functions for large multi site/service system, national account, large complex single location account or those with unionized workers. Includes payroll, benefits, administration of labor contracts, training, employee relations, recruiting, etc. Role focuses on hourly workforce. May supervise other HR management and/or clerical professionals. Advises unit level management regarding policies and programs including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AAP/EEO, and special projects. May be responsible for the administration of HR programs including payroll, benefits, records retention, AAP/EEO compliance. May contribute to the development of unit specific policies or programs.
