pspanKimley-Horn is looking for a practice builder and hands on manager to market and win land development work in our Frisco office. The practice builder will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for their practice and contribute to
the growth of the land development team. They will lead the business development effort with local architects and developers and manage the relationship with these key clients./pspanpspanThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business. Accounting, administrative, marketing, recruiting, IT, and production support will be provided. With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards

pspan-Must have successful local track record of winning work/pspanpspan-Extensive client contacts and relationships with local or national architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and land owners as well as local jurisdictional staff./pspanpspan-Registered engineer with 10 or more years diversified experience in growing and leading a land development practice in the local market (residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional)./pspanpspan-Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work./pspanpspan-Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization./pspanpspan-Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner./pspanpspan-Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably./pspan

Min. Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Required Major Civil Engineering
Professional Registration P.E. – Professional Engineer
Desired Qualifications Ability to cross sell multiple disciplines
