Job Description


  • Define what users need from products and applications by conducting research, competitive analysis, understanding behaviors and motivations and defining personas.

  • Work with IAS, designers and other stakeholders to define project success metrics.


  • Conduct independent research how users approach airline digital channels

  • Collect and analyze user behavior through analytics, A/B testing, benchmark studies and surveys

  • Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research

  • Share research through written reports and oral presentations

  • Conduct research and analysis throughout the project life cycle, from discovery through agile development and post-production

  • Use market research/competitive analysis to help develop use cases

  • Define demographics, personas and target audience across digital channels and in context of each project

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field or equivalent experience/training

  • At least 3 years experience conducting user experience research utilizing all types of research methodology

  • Experience working with high-traffic consumer and e-commerce sites, mobile and apps

  • Ability to conduct research early in the product development process and provide feedback regarding product direction and strategy

  • Ability to develop a creative approach to complex user experience problems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
