Job Description


  • Provide on-going technical support and Single Point of Contact “SPoC” on the quantum program consisting of hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets and their related printers) along with its software

  • “SPOC” for both business and I/T in regards to the quantum program’s processes, hardware & software

  • Certification of software for the quantum environment that consists of working with the business, I/T, vendors and packagers from initial request to packaging to coordination of testing to scheduling of production deployment

  • Provide on-going technical support and “SPoC” to both the business & I/T for “MRO Outsourcing” as related to quantum hardware & software

  • Determine business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications and track them through the complete development and/or change life-cycle

  • Perform or coordinate gathering, review, and analysis of data and data integrity

  • Manage system configurations, systems access, and analyze and recommend enhancements to improve system operations

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and/or coordinate same

  • Troubleshoot computer slow responses

  • Troubleshoot issues related to printer drivers across multiple printers and applications

  • Support communication and response process; responding to users on system issues, maintenance, and system status advising and escalating on any prolonged or major issues

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in IT/IS/CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or related field , desired

  • 8+ years of relevant I/T experience

  • Two years of experience with Planview, Rally, and SharePoint is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of IT business operations, systems requirements and processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities required to resolve complex issues

  • Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Requires minimal supervision an is relatively autonomous in all aspects of assigned work

  • Ability to coordinate, manage, and deliver concurrent and complex projects and tasks through the project life-cycle

  • Ability to interact effectively with project managers, developers, tech leads, technical operations, etc. across multiple programming environments

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

  • Experience work within Agile projects is desired

  • Experience in managing “mission-critical” projects / migrations

  • Experience installing and configuring software

  • Experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, tablets, networks in regards to performance

  • Experience in creation of metrics in regards to network utilization

  • Experience with Printer Drivers
