Our Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for all tier 1 support, which includes all support of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and projects as assigned. The Desktop Support Analyst will also provide support and service to remote locations, and will open tickets/dispatch support to appropriate location(s) as needed. This role will require strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with all organization levels.

  • Responsible for fielding technical support calls, opening helpdesk tickets, and triage as appropriate.

  • Performs hardware and software installations and conducts troubleshooting as required to satisfy requests by customers.

  • Performs staging of PC equipment to load Operating Systems and authorized software applications. Installs PCs, printers, and other PC related equipment for all locations.

  • Delivers prompt professional response and timely resolution to all requests for services.

  • Works with technical support analysts, strategic projects analysts, technicians, managers and vendors.

  • Documents processes and procedures proficiently.

  • Works directly with the customer both in person and by telephone to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Maintains documentation on work in progress, work completed and prepare reports as required by management.


  • 3+ years of experience in hardware and software support.

  • Experience with MS operating systems (7, 8, 10), MS Office Suite, network connectivity and administration, hardware (desktop/end user), peripherals.

  • Experience with Microsoft System Center

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • 3 + years experience with Windows desktop administration

  • 3+ years experience configuring and troubleshooting MS Office applications

  • 3+ years experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing hardware

  • Technical knowledge in Microsoft Server technologies like Active Directory, Exchange 2013 / Office 356, Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016.

  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and applications including: Cisco IOS, MS Active Directory, Microsoft DPM, Microsoft Endpoint, VMWare vSphere, and Microsoft RDS technologies

  • Familiarity with web and database programming

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Experience with desktop imaging (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Microsoft System Center)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with customer services, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills are a must

  • Capable of working individually and as part of a team

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects/priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Must be able to remain calm in pressure situations and adapt quickly to change


  • A degree in Computer Science, or related experience. MCSE and A+ certifications preferred.

  • Microsoft certification is a plus
