Freeman is seeking an AutoCAD Design Programmer to take working designs for trade show exhibits, museums, theatrical props, exhibit systems and outdoor interactive displays and creates parts programs for the CNC. Creates programs to achieve the best possible yield, material selection and use machine time to expedite parts to the production floor. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Creates parts programs and assembly diagrams for CNC routers in a manufacturing environment.

  • Utilizes AutoCAD, Router-CIM & Solid-CIM to develop efficient programs from 3D models.

  • Collaborates with production and engineering to overcome production design challenges with a team environment.

  • Recognizes and proactively resolves problems relating component and part design to increase efficiencies.

  • Balances multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Proficient in AutoCAD and a 3D modeling environment.

  • Proficient in Router-CIM software, Solid-CIM and advanced nesting experience a plus.

  • Exhibit Construction methods experience.

  • Experience with KOMO CNC Routers.

  • Knowledge of tradeshow, modular, KD construction techniques.

  • Knowledge of woods, composites and plastics/polymers in a machining environment.

  • Assertive, self-motivated individual who will prioritize with department manager/supervisor to execute project assignments.


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Certified in Router-CIM and/or Solid-CIM CAM packages.


  • Associates Degree
