Lockheed Martin Sr. Administrative Assistant in Grand Prairie, Texas
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant for a position in Grand Prairie, Texas to provide direct support for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Director for Strategy and Business Development.
This position requires a professional demeanor at all levels of interface. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Resolve conflicting priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
Manage Outlook calendar for director as well as conference rooms or other shared spaces
Meeting and conference arrangements including space, catering, announcements, audio/video equipment, visitor control, security
Arrange international/domestic travel and expense reimbursements
Compose reports, correspondence and memorandums; review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage
Prepare charts for presentations, using PowerPoint and Excel
Telephone / personal interface with all levels of internal employees as well as external contacts
Work task prioritization, sometimes with short deadline turnarounds
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Receive calls, mail, or other communications and making proper referrals
Take and transcribe meeting minutes
Update SharePoint sites
Maintain and order office supplies
Minimum 5-10 years of prior relevant administrative experience
Must have ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Exceptional communications skills (written and spoken) with demonstrated ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, etc.
Proficiency in international and domestic travel systems and expense reporting
Microsoft proficiency: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organizational capability
Desired skills Previous experience supporting director-level leaders
Experience with CONCUR system
Working knowledge of LM and MFC policies and procedures
Forward thinker, self-starter
