Lockheed Martin Staff Talent Acquisition Recruiter in Grand Prairie, Texas
Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business area has an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Staff level) to join a world class talent acquisition organization. This position will support the entire business area supporting our Engineering & Technology, Production Ops, Quality, Finance and LM Energy lines of business as well as our large Special Operations Forces program. This role will primarily serve in the capacity of a full lifecycle recruiter by sourcing and screening qualified applicants using best in class tools and technology. The role will be responsible for building strong client relationships, negotiating offers, making compensation recommendation and working strategic hiring initiatives within MFC talent acquisition.
As a Staff level resource this position will be responsible for additional strategic staffing initiatives to include workforce strategy projects, candidate pipelining and supporting Talent Acquisition leadership in short, medium and long range hiring plans for our TX location and associated offsite locations.
This position will be based in our headquarters location Grand Prairie, TX. Candidates may be eligible for relocation.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related discipline and 10 years of professional experience as a full lifecycle recruiter in a corporate or agency environment. Expert level user of applicant tracking systems such as Kenexa Brassring, Taleo or iCims Expert level user of candidate relationship management systems (CRM) such as Smashfly, Smartrecruiter, Bullhorn or other related tools Experience working talent acquisition strategy initiatives to include any of the following: large DoD program staffing plans, long range candidate engagement and talent attraction initiatives, diversity & veteran recruiting programs, recruiting process improvement or recruitment marketing/social media campaigns Proven results in converting passive candidates to qualified applicants, familiar with common talent acquisition analytics and tracking metrics Familiar with OFCCP and EEO employment law
Desired skills AIRS or HCI certifications Prior experience working in a recruiting lead capacity mentoring junior level talent acquisition staff (non-manager) Prior experience recruiting in the national security, aerospace & defense or high technology industry
