SR, HR GENERALIST (Harlingen & Brownsville) (Job Number: 1605050206)
Under the Direction of the Human Resource Director of the hospital, responsible for operational human resources related duties. May carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following HR areas: license and certification renewals and updates, .edu compliance and health update compliance as well as other monthly updates and audits as needed. Will deploy the following initiatives including but not limited to: sign-on bonuses, tracking of agency staff including non-NAPE contractor tracking, HRMSWeb, exit interviews, wellness initiatives, Tenet Care Fund. Will work closely with recruitment to complete hire tasks. Works closely with the Director in addressing turnover and employee engagement as needed. May assist in developing job descriptions, addressing employee issues and in investigations as requested. Will work on various projects as assigned. Works under minimal supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a business or healthcare related field required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in a business, project management or healthcare related field preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five or more years in a human resource role responsible for ensuring compliance with various guidelines and laws. Proven ability to take a project from beginning to end. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other Microsoft office programs. Must have a proven positive approach to resolving issues.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Experience resolving employee issues highly desired.
