Texas Health Resources RN II-Clinical Decision Unit-FT-Night Shift-HEB in HEB, Texas
Texas Health HEB is opening a Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) . Our CDU will provide an alternative to discharge or a hospital inpatient admission for patients who may benefit from an extended observation period, generally less than 24 hours.
Schedule/Shift: 3rd, 7PM-7AM (rotating weekends/holidays)
Required minimum education:
BSN preferred. RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
Required minimum experience:
One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing; Current AHA BLS and ACLS training. AHA NIH within 30 days of hire. CPI within 90 days of hire.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
