On a daily basis, an Associate Credit Operations Analyst will be responsible for the following

·New Credit Origination and Booking; Portfolio Monitoring/Management /Data Quality Control; Process customer loan servicing requests, including advances, paydowns and maintenance;

·New Credit Origination, specializing in complex credit relationships:

·Supports business in new credit origination: - Independently pulls due diligence reports as necessary ( D&B, TRW, Lit & Lien Search, CPA Check, UCC Searches)

·Makes a place of business call with significant clients to obtain financial statements, tax returns, a/c receivable aging.

·Works directly with owners, executives, and corporate officers of client companies.

·Review reports for credit worthiness by reviewing credit scores on personal TRW's, analyzing any litigation or liens outstanding on properties, reviewing UCC lien reports and amendments to determine if Citi would be in line for first lien on assets.

·Works independently with client to answer any questions on due diligence report and financial statements before supplying RM with data.

·Performs OFAC checks on clients and facilitates Reg B checks to ensure all risk is reviewed and regulations are adhered to.

·Performs independent analysis on high net worth clients and recommends if customer is initially credit worthy based on due diligence findings.

·Analyzes if any risks associated with lending to the client are worth while from cursory review.

·Interfaces with RM who will complete thorough analysis with additional data from customer financials statements, aging, etc.

·Prioritizes and processes incoming credit requests and reviews for accuracy and completeness; interprets them to convert to concise and accurate credit facilities.

·Initiates and coordinates the set-up of customer and transaction data in the appropriate credit systems, including but not limited to customer identification and Know Your Customer policies, collateral assessment, facilities structure and documentation requirements, specializing in complex credit relationships and specialized industries.

·Customer facing throughout the credit origination process in participating in Place of Business calls with RM, independently obtain financials from client,interacting with client with any questions on due diligence and financial data.

·Manages vendor support such as Title companies, attorneys, CPA's and appraisers etc.

·Involves engaging Field Examiners, coordinating appraisal and environmental reviews with REEO and the customer, Coordinate Flood Insurance docs from customer and broker, works directly with attorneys in preparation of documents.

·Monitors and coordinates the timely clearing of all pre-closing requirements, including conditions precedent, Basel collateral reporting requirements and documentation.

·Ensures collateral is secured.(stocks pledged,cash collateralized accounts blocked)

·Provides consultative support for syndications and participations with multiple lending institutions.

·Facilitate and execute proper set up of soft credit exposure including automated clearing house (ACH) and fed fund check clearing.

·Facilitate and execute proper set up of soft credit exposure including automated clearing house

·Facilitate and execute proper set up of Trade Credit Products including but not limited to Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit etc.

·Facilitate and execute proper set up of Foreign Exchange and interest rate swaps (derivatives).facilitates execution and provides guidance toother job families in the execution phase

·Performs covenant and portfolio monitoring to ensure that complex loan portfolios are accurate and that needed actions are taken in a timely manner.

·Performs data integrity reviews and initiate necessary corrective actions.

·Proactively coordinates with Risk Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure that reporting requirements are met and loan maintenance requests are completed accurately.

·Analyze and reviews information obtained from the Credit Approval Process and loan documentation for accuracy, completeness and quality.

·Analyze and reviews credit approval summary to assess required documents and coordinates internal documentation preparation and external documentation via outside counsel.- Elevates discrepancies to RM and ensures adequate exception approvals obtained, if applicable

·Coordinates and participates development of loan documentation with outside counsel.

·Analyze final loan documentation to ensure it is consistent with credit approvals and that conditions precedent have been satisfied.

·Prepares booking worksheet data for Loan Operations and ensures transaction terms and structure including Basel II requirements are accurately reflected in core loan system (AFS).

·Secures collateral, monitors collateral adequacy, and notifies Relationship Manager if escalation with the customer is warranted.

·Builds and maintains credit files and other documentation required by credit risk policy.

·Complete and approve administrative credit approval summary.

·Serves as primary contact for complex Customers requesting credit advances and pay downs on approved credit facilities. Monitors credit availability, independently approves requests, and coordinates disbursements with Loan Operations.

·Monitors availability for borrowing base facilities and loan compliance to ensure proper disposition of availment requests.Proactively quotes rates to customers for LIBOR borrowings as outlined in credit agreement and independently processes via operations.

·Independently reviews and approves overdrafts on a daily basis up to one million dollars and solicits approves where additional credit authority is required for that transaction.

·Monitors intra-day and end-of-day exposure against limits where relevant (e.g. ACH), prioritizes exceptions detected and escalates as needed.

·Reviews credit worthiness for existing clients and credit facilities in a relationship (reference new credit origination process above), with expertise in complex credits and significant relationships.

·Analyzes and monitors covenants and reporting requirements (ex. accounts receivables aging, inventory reports and tax returns).

·Audit Support: Performs independent, periodic RCSA testing.

·Facilitates internal and external audits such as ARR and peer reviews.

·Contributes to achievement of acceptable audit ratings.

·Ensures Know Your Customer and Electronic Customer Acquisition Due Diligence requirements are in place for Anti-Money Laundering reviews

·Provides senior subject matter expertise to Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Portfolio Managers

·Advises on credit policy, procedures, credit systems, and loan documentation requirements.

·Seek and disseminate to share and train best practices with peers and colleagues when appropriate.

·Works with product partners to develop and enhance current product base.

·Responsible for completion of Risk initiatives on behalf of the Relationship Managers that are being implemented by the Business.

·Serves as acting manager when manager is unavailable.

·Lead and represent the overall team on credit projects and initiatives
