Business Development - Advertising/Storage
Account Specialist (Business Development Manager) - Advertising/Storage Products
Driven and motivated with a definable set of quotas, goals and objectives, you will become familiar with OPIS Advertising and terminals/storage data products and approach customers about investing their marketing communications and business development budgets across a broad spectrum of OPIS products. With a definable track record in advertising sales and account management, you should have a detailed knowledge about the sales cycle specifically as it pertains to electronic media sales and subscription based data products. You must be comfortable dealing with a variety of decision makers from agency planners and buyers to C-Level executives and be eager to introduce the OPIS advertising and terminals/storage data products to a variety of new customers nationwide and provide exceptional service to renewal clients.
General Job Responsibilities/Qualifications
Actively introduce and sell advertising products as represented in the 2017 Media Planning Guide and other products as may be developed throughout the year.
Actively introduce and sell terminals/storage data products to both existing and renewal accounts.
Maintain database of current clients and prospects with detailed notes on each person/account.
Provide marketplace data, feedback and customer call reports to direct supervisor as requested.
Ensure paperwork and contracts are completed correctly and turned in for billing in a timely fashion.
Travel to conferences/trade shows as directed to broaden contact base and generate revenue.
Assist in the collection of monies due from past due clients.
Provide accurate forecasts for budgetary and planning purposes.
Minimum of 10 years experience in advertising and/or subscription based data products,
Able to work independently on projects with minimal oversight.
Represent OPIS and act with the highest in both professional and personal ethics.
