Job Description

The successful Clinical Track applicant must possess an OD degree and completed a residency/fellowship program or have equivalent clinical and academic experience in the area. The candidate will be expected to participate in clinical teaching and patient care activities within the Clinical Sciences Department and thus must be eligible for optometric licensure in the state of Texas. The successful candidates will have a strong interest in providing care within community based clinics and will have experience with healthcare models within these settings. In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be expected to produce clinically relevant scholarship within the framework of patient care and community health.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be eligible for a license to practice optometry in Texas. Residency training and/or significant practice experience.
