Responsible for maintaining database systems including database back-ups, performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring critical events. Provides leadership during the development and enhancement of production applications. Works with application support, technical support and operations team members during the design, development and implementation of applications and documents the process. Collaborates with other core infrastructure teams, business units, and development teams to carry key initiatives and projects. Keeps current with technology while applying best practices utilizing tools to analyze, debug, and resolve database performance issues.
