About the Role
Avanade is looking for a Digital Analytics and Insights professional with consulting, solution design and implementation, and deal shaping experience. The role will include end-to-end deal solutioning of Digital Analytics engagements including data gathering, analyzing and shaping, estimation, costing and proposal development. This role requires strong customer facing skills to clearly articulate proposed solutions to Avanade’s customers.
You will collaborate with the Avanade business development team to shape and sell Digital Analytics deals. Determines solution costs, provides input on pricing and competitive messaging. You will ensure solution value drivers are reflected in the client value proposition. Collaborate with Avanade leadership teams to ensure delivery capability matches the proposed solution. You will identify performance improvement opportunities for Solution Realization. Collaborate on or leads Service Transition/Solution Realization planning activities. Participate on Quality Assurance team and increase the level of buyer confidence. Within the first year, work closely with the Avanade eco-system to provide seamless integration on solution offerings, assets, pricing, and staffing models.
5-10 years’ experience in a large IT organization with knowledge of or responsibility for multi-channel Digital Analytics solutions
Understanding of Digital Data Analytics delivery process and terminology
5+ years digital agency or similar experience
Strong pre-sales support skills and experience
Experience working with Marketing, Business and IT stakeholders
Experience collaborating with Creative, Technical and Strategy team members on complex enterprise engagements
BS degree (Master’s preferred)
Strong financial and analytical skills
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time or as required
Direct experience in similar roles
Experience designing solutions to be delivered by a Global Delivery team and demonstrated capability as a liaison to offshore group
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work on a daily basis with digital analytics platforms to explore complex data sets and make recommendations for insights driven marketing strategies and/or web site design changes.
They will need to be detail-oriented and have a strong technical and working knowledge of omni-channel digital analytics technologies, and a high aptitude toward working with data visualization technologies (dashboards) and data schema(s).
They should be able to demonstrate the expertise to design data and analytics solutions to deliver meaningful customer insights and have experience preparing and producing analytics reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
They will be an expert in identifying and developing data collection strategies to support standard and ad-hoc reporting on key performance indicators that directly measure online campaigns, website and conversion funnel performance.
They will be able to provide analytics solution design direction and tag implementation requirements to product managers and technical teams, ensuring best practices are followed. The communication produced will be digestible across teams of different technical capabilities.
5-10 years developing marketing performance measurement using digital analytics tools such as Sitecore, Adobe Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Target and Google Analytics
Demonstrated ability with dashboard and scorecard design and development including KPI and reporting frame refinement
Ability to analyze and report interactive consumer metrics, translating information into actionable digital marketing recommendations
Experience with tag management solutions (Tealium, Ensighten, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
Ability to lead client-facing workshops to define business needs related to KPIs, data and analytics solutions
BA/BS degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, economics or other quantitative disciplines.
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Experience with site testing and personalization tools a plus and knowledge of HTML and CSS languages
Provide and action site optimization recommendations based on historical/current data
Ensure campaign and marketing program elements are accurately aligned, tested and implemented (Sitecore requirements, tracking/analytics, etc.)
Actively input to marketing teams to help define digital strategies, programs and campaigns
Provide analytics training and support for new and existing users as needed
Be familiar with SEO/SEM best practices and online program management
Proficiency with eCommerce and/or content management systems highly preferred
Experience using REST and API data connectors
