Fleet Management and Analysis (FM&A) Coordinator

PAE seeks a Fleet Management and Analysis (FM&A) Coordinator for a position in Afghanistan.

  • Responsible for FM&A functions in accordance with AFCSM 24-1, AFI 24-302 and other applicable publications/directives.

  • Management of a fleet of Government owned, locally leased, OGVMCs non-registered vehicles, and any

  • other vehicles as directed by USAFCENT/A4RV.

  • Manage and process all local US Army Garrison/USFOR-A directed vehicle registrations, re-registrations, and renewals including fuel registrations on Air Force owned vehicles assigned to the 455 AEW.

  • Experience with OLVIMS or DPAS Maintenance Modules, LIMS-EV, AFEMS, IMDS, and fleet management functions.

  • Input data to the OLVIMS or DPAS computer system and verify data accuracy.

  • Prepare, review, and correct OLVIMS or DPAS system products as required.

  • Perform fleet maintenance and operations analysis.

  • Develop local data retrievals to obtain specific performance data, and shall analyze this data to identify specific trends.

  • Coordinate with work center supervisors and applicable using organizations to ensure timely repair of assigned vehicles.

  • Monitor contract and warranty repairs, status, and funding.

  • Develop and administer long and short range plans and programs for completion of scheduled maintenance and assigned special projects.

  • Control and administer the delayed maintenance, accident, abuse, and misuse programs. The Contractor shall maintain and file vehicle historical data and maintain current vehicle records jackets.

  • Assemble specific vehicular information by extracting and tabulating data in a logical presentation sequence using automated and manual methods.

  • Prepare data for presentation in tabular, chart, graphic, and summary form and shall give written and narrative summaries to meet management needs.

  • Analyze data for deviations from specific performance indicators and shall help to develop and implement corrective actions.

  • If replacement fleet management systems are implemented, the VFM&A shall be responsible for managing and providing input to these replacement systems in the same manner as the original system after the Government supplies required training.


  • The FM&A shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in functions such as vehicle management policies and procedures.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, LIMS-EV and fleet management systems, and functions to perform fleet maintenance and operations analysis.

  • Previous supervisory experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce on a vehicle maintenance contract

  • US Citizenship, a valid US or local driver's license and US passport;

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Certified in specific trade, or maintenance journeyman/master technician

  • Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance


  • Experience providing excellent customer services.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.

  • Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.


This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 12 hours per day. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
