Job Description

Exterran has great opportunities right now for HR professionals seeking to gain valuable experience and develop skills.

The HR Administrator will provide high quality professional administrative HR Services to all stakeholders within their area of responsibility, in compliance with Exterran’s HR policies, systems, practices, standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all transactional processing services are delivered in accordance with HR Services standards

  • Day to day transactions and operations that include entering employee action forms, maintaining HR database, filing documents, reporting errors, checking for accuracy, etc.

  • Create and deliver HRS metrics

  • Practice a culture of continuous improvement

  • Identify and address opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of HR administration services

  • Run new hire verification process such as drug screens, background checks

  • Participates in HR system improvements and testing

  • Responses timely on all inquiries directed to HR Services

  • Performs other job functions as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree

  • 2 years of work experience in a HR role

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with Oracle or similar database

  • Previous experience in maintaining confidentiality and handling employee matters

Professional Skills/Experience:

  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

  • Organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize, work independently , solve problems and meet deadlines

  • Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from multiple leaders
