Job Description

Entry level HR generalist opportunity that will support a Field Operations team and be responsible for all apsects of Human Resources. In this role, you will be be able to learn and apply all aspects of the HR function in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. The team is small enough for you to make a difference and be a part of a team, but also large enough to provide room to grow and stretch yourself. The HR generalist will be responsible for administering policies relating to all phases of human resources acitvity. This role has plenty of exposure and will learn from some of the best!!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as internal resource to supervisor and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and business relationships

  • Maintains knowlesge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance

  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee issues

  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports, as required

  • Manage recruiting, candidate screening and selection process to proactively meet the organization's hiring requirements

  • Assist supervisors / department heads in preparation for performance and salary reviews

  • Provide guidance to supervisors and employees regaring policy and HR program administration and interpretation

  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews

  • Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations and promotions, safety

  • Perform other work-related duties, as assigned

  • Ensure all transactional processing services are delivered in accordance with agreed performance and quality targets

  • Practice a culture of continuous improvement

  • Day to day transactions and support to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of HR operations

  • Ad hoc HR and payroll matters

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Human Resources or related business field

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years related experience and / or training

  • Previous experience in maintaining confidentiality and handling employee matters

Professional Skills/Experience:

  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

  • Organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize, work independently , solve problems and meet deadlines

  • Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from multiple leaders
