General Information

This positon is subject to occasional travel with extended workdays and/or workweeks and overnight stays in support of pipeline facility operations, project activities, and training.


  • Work in a team environment within the Measurement and Gas Quality groups

  • Provide detailed level technical support for measurement, gas quality and odorant systems to identify and resolve problems, analyze malfunctions, make repairs and provide assistance where needed.

  • Responsible for maintaining the gas quality analyzer operating procedures

  • Recommend analyzer testing and test frequencies

  • Assisting in developing analyzer training for field technicians

  • Perform design review for gas quality analyzers

  • Perform engineering related studies requiring application of company, governmental and industry codes, standard, procedures and guidelines


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to work closely with management, customers, field teams and coordinate work with other appropriate technical resources.

  • Solid trouble shooting skills and strong working knowledge of chromatographs, water analyzers, odorant systems, H2S and total sulfur analyzers.

  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards pertaining to measurement and gas quality (API, GPA, AGA, and FERC)

  • RTU programing experiences a plus.


  • BS degree in engineering, with 6+ year’s natural gas industry experience.
