• The Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting plant and company safety / PSM initiatives • Assist in developing capital projects for new electrical equipment/instrumentation and major repairs. Proficient with relevant electrical codes and standards. • Prepare specifications for purchase of new materials and equipment. • Creates, modifies, and documents electrical schematic drawings, control cabinet layouts, control networks, single line drawings and power distribution layouts. • Assists engineering and maintenance personnel with the identification of causes of electrical and control problems and provides solutions to problems through adjustments, modifications, training, documentation or revisions to programs, parts and systems. • Strong knowledge of electrical area classifications codes and standards. Support routine maintenance on the plant electrical distribution equipment. Providing on-call support for maintenance troubleshooting of electrical equipment and instrumentation. • Relocation provided


• A Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering. • The Electrical Engineer must have 5+ years in a chemical plant, refinery, industrial gas or similar process manufacturing plant. • Experience with variable speed drives, valves, and instrumentation used for chemical plant production process. • Must be able to support a 24/7 production schedule by taking calls during nights and weekends. Experience with power distribution systems (including high voltage). • US citizen or green card holder and a stable work history.
