Verizon Principle Consultant PCI in Houston, Texas
You will perform duties as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) to provide assessment and consulting to Verizon clients.This tele-work position requires travel to client locations globally for interviews and validation of physical and technical controls that are expected to protect credit card data (cardholder data).The work you’ll do every single day will make people’s lives, work and play better.
Conduct interviews, review documents from the clients for PCI compliance, write compliance reports prepare and deliver briefs, and conduct analyses of various processes and programs related to the PCI Data Security Standards.
Review and analyze network diagrams and configure of several technologies in use to meet the twelve PCI DSS requirements.
Review of firewalls, multiple operating systems, malware protection, IDS/IPS and various network monitoring and protection methods.
An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Payment Card Industry Professionals (PCIP) with an acceptable certification.
Recent experience implementing or evaluating the PCI DSS compliance, including qualifications as a QSA or Internal Security Assessor (ISA).
Ideally, you’ll also have:
A firm grasp of the English language in written and verbal formats.
Excellent presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or in collaboration to meet delivery obligation.
One of the following certifications:
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA).
Certified ISO 27001, Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor.
International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
Information Security Management System (ISMS) Auditor.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
