HP Inc. Worldwide PSGO Supply Chain Operations team is looking an individual with the following attributes: Accountable, Hard Charging, “IT CAN BE DONE!” attitude with excellent decision making skills to join our team as a Partner Business Manager/RFQ Manager within the Partner Business Management “PBM” Team focusing on Mobility (Tablets, Phablets), and Wearables (smart watches, smart/protective devices) businesses. As a PBM/RFQ Manager you get to work and lead many functions from an End to End Value Chain within Mobility & Wearables Groups: dealing directly with Suppliers/ODMs/OEMs, Sales Operations, NPI, Marketing and R&D engineering, and TCE/Q.

Be Accountable for the below areas:

  • Define and drive ODM Sourcing Strategy in a collaborative effort with Marketing and R&D

  • Lead RFI/RFQ activities from Platform Concept to Awarding the Business

  • Be the focal point for ODM issue resolutions

  • Drive timely and complete Business Ts & Cs with ODMs

  • Manage Platform changes and negotiate/mitigate cost impacts

  • Manage and negotiate manufacturing costs, MVA, Labor

  • Lead Supplier Performance and Relationship Management

  • Align ODM investments with PPS Strategy

Key Leadership Accountability:

  • Take Leadership in Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead/develop recommendations and provide insight for management.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive, negotiations and influences decision makers to ensure we delivered what's best for our CUSTOMERS!.

  • Direct dealings with Executives (Directors, VPs an SVPs) on escalations and Executive briefings.

  • Define and review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.

  • Contribute to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

  • Typically 4- 7 years of experience in a supply chain function.

  • Successful in Leadership Roles

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Excellent internal and external relationship management skills.

  • Strong leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Good project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies.

  • Good business acumen and technical knowledge within the Mobility and /or Wearables Markets
