Holland Services Project Manager in Houston, Texas

The Project Manager coordinates all day-to-day internal workings of a single project, carrying out the directives of the Senior Project Manager to ensure client goals are met in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with Senior Project Manager to organize the project, set up processes and create templates

  • Coordinate timely assignments for team members as needed and monitor individual progress

  • Work closely with Senior Project Manager to identify and develop potential leaders among team members

  • Maintain ease of availability throughout the course of the project to supply team with valuable feedback

  • Hold team members accountable for personal time-management and billing

  • May perform final reviews; directly or indirectly responsible for accuracy of every file submitted to the client

  • Communicate with the client as needed to relay file submission statuses or answer specific file questions

  • Maintain a tracking system for distribution and collaboration with Crew Chiefs

  • Understand and meet field crew needs by regularly corresponding with Crew Chiefs

  • Effectively manage personnel to meet specified deadlines

  • Address personnel or other team issues that may arise and relay to Human Resources

  • Communicate with Senior Project Manager to forecast upcoming staffing needs and scrutinize current staff numbers to ensure alignment with project parameters

  • Keep Senior Project Manager apprised of project status at all times

  • Ensure all daily tasks of the project function smoothly from start to finish

  • Continually evaluate and revise processes and procedures to improve work efficiencies

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 5+ years of related experience in Title Abstracting

Experience O&G industry required with working knowledge of broker firms, business and E&Ps; familiarity of O&G procedures and law; 1+ years field title experience required; business development background.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; Excel; Familiarity with Land Management software preferred.
