This business area brings its solutions to market as Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and CT Lien Solutions.As the Quality Analyst Project Lead you will be responsible for coordinating QA professionals who execute testing of all CTLS (CT Lien Solutions) software products. QA Lead role activities include learning and maintaining a thorough understanding of all CTLS software products; providing consistent communication with the QA team on assigned projects; overseeing all phases of QA in the project; managing QA projects to schedule and scope; and ensuring projects conform to established QA standards and policies. In this hands on role you are expected to draft and maintain the more complex quality control test plans and scripts as well as conduct the tests needed to ensure the software meets or exceeds specified standards and user requirements. Provide in-depth analysis of test results and trends. As a member of the QA leadership team, the QA Lead also participates in process improvement activities, including recommending and implementing new processes and monitoring/auditing existing processes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies and the overall IT delivery process.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:• Lead offshore testing teams, providing the necessary support and guidance for the teams to successfully complete assigned work• Collaborate with project teams to develop and execute a QA strategy comprising of manual, automation, integration, security and performance/stress testing• Ensure software products are fully tested, secure, and meet the needs of the business and our customers• Drive overall completion of software testing activities through all phases of the software development lifecycle including change management• Work with development teams to plan, build and implement release test approaches• Lead assigned Project QA professionals in the most efficient and effective manner without compromising quality• Ensure test activities meet the quality assurance department’s standards• Create the project outline and plan for QA activities, addressing end-to-end integration testing needs by reviewing the software product project scope and application requirements• Build, maintain, and execute complex quality control test plans and scripts• Interact with product owners, technical team, reviewing the acceptance criteria and identifying potential quality issues (risks and contingencies) related to project testing activities• Provide Test Summary reports, Root Cause Analysis, and other management reporting• Assist in preparing and executing tests during Production and Disaster Recovery deployments, which occur at least one weekend per month• The QA Project Leader must have a proven track record of leading QA resources to meet project needs
Minimum Qualifications: • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technology based position, with at least four years leading QA teams and 3-4 years’ experience working with offshore project teams.Preferred Qualifications: (Includes Minimum) • Prior QA technical lead experience leading teams of 3-7 QA engineers• Excellent knowledge of Agile/Scrum testing methodology and software is required as Wolters Kluwer engages in this methodology for QA testing• Exposure to best practices for maintaining test environments• 5+ years’ experience with test automation tools (QA Test Automation Framework) such as QuickTest Pro and/or Selenium • Prior experience with QA methodologies, processes, and testing techniques• Experience with software QA/QC technologies related to manual, automation, integration, database operations, regression, usability, and performance/stress testing areas• Knowledge of Test Management process and tools (HP Quality Center, or Microsoft Test Manager)• Working knowledge of web-based testing techniques, software system security concepts, and appropriate testing techniques Additional Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:• Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external project stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while effectively balancing multiple projects that meet the department’s high quality standards• Organized and productive, requiring minimal supervision• Excellent technical issue resolution skills• Familiarity with test process improvement initiatives• Quality Assurance Certifications (Certified Software Quality/Test Analyst etc.)• Must be customer and team focusedApply to:https://www.wolterskluwer.apply2jobs.com/ProfExt/index.cfm?fuseaction=mExternal.showJob&RID=15481&CurrentPage=1 ABOUT WOLTERS KLUWER Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information services.
