Ideal candidate will have experience working in a lab and or with animals.

Provides technical assistance in carrying out assigned duties of various research projects as they relate to mice studies.


Handling of mice for pancreatic cancer research wean and set up breedings

Manipulation of mice for pancreatic cancer research Ear tag, Genotype, treat by injection or gavage, and perform surgery.

Analysis of human/mouse samples for pancreatic cancer research PCR, microfluidics, sequencing, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, western, flow cytometry and sorting.

Molecular Biology techniques including but not limited to cloning,

recombineering, shRNA, siRNA, transduction and transfection

Data presentation and Information dissemination Candidate will be required to meet with superiors on a regular basis and make spreadsheets and presentations of data obtained from analyses. Furthermore, the candidate will also need to make sure that they efficiently convey pertinent information to those individuals ultimately responsible for each mouse colony.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in scientific or experimental research work. May substitute required experience with completed years of college on a one to one basis.
