Room Service Wait Staff opportunities available in Room Service. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have either one year of experience as a waiter/server or two years of experience in a room service position in the department of Clinical Nutrition.

Must be able to work a pm shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (Shift subject to change based on operational needs).


Orients patients to room service. Assists patients and guests with menu selection. Assembles, delivers and serves meals and nourishments. Utilizes knowledge of menu and modified diets to ensure that menu selections comply with prescribed diet, age-related needs and other patient conditions. Communicates effectively with nursing and nutrition staff to coordinate meal service with other patient care functions. Prepares and delivers tube feedings. Retrieves trays, records food intake and returns trays to ware washing area. Inventories, assembles and delivers supplies. Maintains sanitation of work area and equipment. Collects payment for guest trays.

Required: One year of experience as a waiter, server or two years of experience in a room service position in the department of Clinical Nutrition.

Preferred: One year of experience as a waiter or server in a high volume restaurant or hotel.
