Role Summary/Purpose

This role is for a finance analyst in Global Supply Chain (GSC) function for Downstream Technology Solutions (DTS), a GE Oil& Gas division. DTS is a $3B business with manufacturing operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. This role reports to DTS Senior GSC Finance Manager, and will be working with global manufacturing finance teams as well as being a critical business partner to FP&A and business leadership.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst you will be responsible for Working Capital related questions as well as balance sheet reviews and managing complex issues like reserve policy changes within functional areas of expertise. Essential Responsibilities include analyzing site performance data and summarizing findings appropriately for our internal clients like Inventory, AP, etc. In addition you will:

  • Partner with GSC Finance and Controllership teams to develop and maintain standard reserve processes, for example Warranty or Bad Debt reserves

  • Partner with GSC Finance and Controllership teams develop and maintain monthly / quarterly Balance Sheet reviews with global sites

  • Ensure Balance Sheet reporting requirements and deadlines are met by facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple functions and Product Companies and sites.

  • Work effectively with GSC leadership to proactively drive key business initiatives

  • Own forecasting / reporting process, complete monthly reporting

  • Solicit feedback on a regular basis and modify processes accordingly.

  • Serve as business partner to Operations


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial position
